Article Demon and Article Marketing Robot are hands down the two best dedicated article directory submission software products for us marketers today. Since I own copies of both, one of the most common questions I get asked is: Which is better? Article Demon or Article Marketing Robot?
First of all, I think both of these products are very good. As link building tools, they both work very well in terms of building backlinks. I’ve used both products regularly and I’ve seen ranking improvements from both. In fact, they are quite similar in a lot of ways as they both support the basic capabilities I want from an automated article directory submission software product, namely:
- Automated account creation.
- Can submit spun articles.
- Captcha support (Decaptcher.com and Death By Captcha).
- Ability to add my own WordPress Blogs to the software.
- Check article approval status.
- Software is consistently updated.
Ok, that’s all well and good, but enough with the similarities. Article Demon vs Article Marketing Robot? What are the advantages of each?
Article Demon Pros
- Better integrated article spinner. I just find it more enjoyable to use Article Demon’s article spinner when submitting my articles.
- I like the fact that Article Demon shows which Article Directories are DOFOLLOW and Require Captcha.
- More powerful scheduler, gives you more control over when each article gets sent out.
Article Marketing Robot Pros
- More built-in article directores (Currently 4441 vs 1200).
- 5 Day Free Trial to test out the software before you buy.
- $97 vs $127.
- Faster submissions, less memory intensive.
If I had to pick the software I like to use the most, I would probably give the slight edge to Article Marketing Robot. A lot of people would point to the lower price point, but personally I mostly like the fact that submissions are faster, and that Article Marketing Robot is just runs smoother on the netbook I am running it on.
